Taco Talk

Now I’m not one to usually take pictures of my food, mostly because it’s gone before I have a chance to eat it, but I realized I have a nice collection of tacos and quesadillas in my photo album from 2020. So, while we’re all quarantining and can’t gather on this Taco Tuesday, I figured, why not share them with you. Check out what I’ve been this year.

With a Mojito on the Side

When you leave a dance class at 9 p.m., realize you’re hungry and happen to walk by a taco spot on your way home, you have to stop in. These beauties came from Margarita Bar, a Mexican restaurant and bar in midtown West.

Rice is Always Nice

This Galentine’s Day, I headed out to Rockville Center for some international bites with the girls. Quesadillas are never a bad idea, especially when they come with a side of rice. Check out Mesita next time you’re on the island.

Havana Has It

Another Taco Tuesday, another mojito on the side. These came from Havana Tacos in Inwood. The Tuesday specials don’t stop at tacos here, so I guess I’ll save the sampling for another time.

Denver Does It

So this one wasn’t actually in New York, and also isn’t a taco or quesadilla, but how could I not share? This plate came from my trip to Denver, down by the 16th Street Mall. Safe to say I didn’t finish it all, but I had a great time trying.

A Sweet Finish

Ok, so also not a taco but also too good not to share. I finished my night at Havana Tacos with a sweet ending with these caramel churros and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Say no more.

Alight, that’s enough with the food for now. Do you have a favorite taco spot in the city? Let me know where it is!

Until next time…
