Since we’re still social distancing, I, like many people, have been avoiding unnecessary outings, including going to restaurants and bars. I took a trip down memory lane, mostly to clear out my phone’s memory, and came across some unshared gems.
The Lobby Bar at Dream Downtown
If you were in NYC earlier this year, you might have stopped in at the most Instagrammable spot in town. For the first few months of 2020, the lobby bar sported roses everywhere! Of course I had to stop in too. After a quick mojito, I asked a few strangers to take my picture to remember the moment.
Tropical EatsA quick trip home to Florida this year led to some great food and pictures of palm trees on the beach. Why not, right? You can never go wrong with a nice cool drink or a giant chocolate chip cookie with ice cream on it. Plus this gem of me trying to find my inner Tyra Banks on the beach tram in Saint John.
Tea at the PlazaThis year, for our work Christmas party, we mirrored after Eloise and headed to the Plaza Hotel, literally for afternoon tea!
