It’s official. I am 26 and off of my parent’s insurance. My birthday weekend was nothing short of a party, socially distanced of course. With a four day weekend, I first started off on Long Island with a hair appointment, followed by some last minute shopping to find that PERFECT birthday outfit. Dinner at a Mexican cantina with friends from elementary school kicked off the celebrations, followed by the delivery of a beautiful bouquet the next morning.

With my outfit on, hair curled, legs moisturized and nails done, I headed to Kimoto in Brooklyn for some rooftop views, drinks and amazing chicken fried rice and dessert!

After a few hours, we headed to midtown’s PHD Terrace for some more rooftop views and of course, more pics, this time in front of the lounge’s very Instagrammable flower wall and beautiful skyline backdrop.

The night ended with laughs, more drinks and a stop at a halal cart on the way home for some chicken over rice and pita, the only way a great night should end. The birthday extravaganza didn’t stop there. I had a jam-packed weekend with friends and family that I’m still recovering from a week later. Stay tuned for more.
Until next time…
