If you don’t know by now, I love a good brunch. Bottomless mimosas, French toast and a nice view will always drag me out of bed on a weekend morning. Last month, I took a random weekend trip back to Charm City, where I called home for four years during college.
A quick Amtrak ride down the coast brought me to the cobblestone roads downtown. We stayed right on the water by the inner Harbor, overlooking the cityscape. We were just a few steps away from the front, and were able to walk along the water at night.

The next morning, we headed out to Fell’s Point for brunch at Barcocina, right on the water. They didn’t have bottomless, but a $6 pint deal, a waffle with a sweet drizzle topped with berries and a side of scrambled. The weather turned out to be a warm, sunny afternoon despite the forecast, and we even caught a proposal right on the water.

After brunch, a quick photoshoot, down by the water of course, took place. The historical look and feel of the town was the perfect backdrop. After the photoshoot, we explored some more, stopping down by the ships, a quick trip through Little Italy, and of course for tacos.

The night ended with music and more food at The Choptank before another stroll on the water.

The East Coast is full of towns with charm and hidden gems. Where is your favorite place to visit?
Until next time…
